Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) uses a combination of FDA-approved medication and clinically informed therapy to provide comprehensive treatment for substance use disorders.

Goals of the MAT program include:

Improving client survival rates

Keeping clients in treatment

Decreasing drug use and other criminal activity among people with substance use disorders

Increasing clients’ ability to gain and maintain employment

Improving birth outcomes among pregnant women with substance use disorders
