Public Educators Support Group

While many teachers and administrators are trying to engage students, they face pandemic-related stressors like economic uncertainty, concern for the safety of loved ones, and anxiety about the future. They also have the daunting challenge of returning to schools where many students have dropped out or fallen behind, increasing the pressure to ensure catch-up.

The support of a mental health professional can help public educators address post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, and other challenges they may face. That’s why Valley Oaks is hosting a Public Educators Support Group every Tuesday from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. EST beginning on November 3.

If you are interested in attending this group, please register in advance: zoom.us/meeting/register/tJIsduiopjIpGNwx6ialUBfQCAmKVXLxRRt6

Any questions regarding registration or the group should be directed to Nathan Worster at 765-441-2711 or nworster-ne@valleyoaks.org.

Thank you to the Department of Mental Health and Addiction for making this group free for all attendees!
